A Weighty Subject

I was a lazy slug most of last week.

Well, okay, that's not entirely true.

On Monday I did both a strength workout AND a run.

The strength workout? This one that I made up by combining a few that I'd seen online:

Then on Wednesday night I did another strength workout:

This one was as advertised. Definitely sweaty! I did it twice in a row and was pretty shaky afterward.

My only other activity for the week included a physical therapy session, walking around Lincoln Park Zoo, walking to get ice cream (which promptly negated most of the other walking), and hauling boxes from place to place. All of which was fine with me.

So, now it's a new week and I've started it off with the strength training workout I described last week. Except we also skipped the mountain climbers. Tonight I'll get in a run and then who knows what else the week will bring!

I had a glorious slugtastic day yesterday. Sometimes you need one of those just to get back centered. I think I may have eaten my weight in Cadbury mini eggs. Rumor has it that calories don't count on holidays. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
That does sound like a sweatastic workout! And the first workout kind of reminds me of when Brian has us do stations - those are totally the types of things he makes us do :)

How was your physical therapy session?

PT is PT.  Nothing earth shattering.

I wish I could be like Brian and just do strength workouts with people all day.  Does Brian need to hire an assistant??
Hahahaha I love counting walking to get froyo as a "workout," it just has a reward at the end!
Your strength workout is amazing, I plan on trying it! Hope you are doing well!
I think you do more in your slug week than i do in my active week! :D
